MINDFUL GRIEVING · A SIX WEEK PROGRAM

You aren't meant to walk this journey alone.

A gentle container to explore grief and loss of any kind — through guided meditation, movement, journaling, and the companionship of others.

Find connection and support.

You are invited to explore how grief lives in your body and to be witnessed in community.

Mindful Grieving is a chance to observe grief and loss in yourself and in one another, creating the space for healing, integration and a deeper sense of belonging to yourself, community and the wider web of life.

𖦹

“Communal grieving offers something that we cannot get when we grieve by ourselves. Through acknowledgement, validation and witnessing, communal grieving allows us to experience a level of healing that is deeply and profoundly freeing.”

— Sobonfu Somé

Mindful Grieving is a gentle container that allows you to be held in loving community while carrying the heaviness of loss. Here, your grief will be given space to move, be witnessed, held, and metabolized.

I deeply believe your grief is sacred, and worthy of care, attention, and presence.

This program is an invitation to learn the skills of grieving in your own unique way — while being held in community.

“The six week Mindful Grieving course was a powerful tool to help me connect my emotions and my body with all that I was navigating

My feelings were validated and through provided prompts and experiences I was able to start journaling again to continue my self-awareness and healing.

This course helped me accept that loss is part of our human experience and the resulting grief is a journey my mind and body are equipped to guide me through-if I listen and give myself the self-love I deserve.”

Before You Register

Is this the right container for you?

Mindful Grieving is one path through loss — not the only one. A few considerations to help you find the right fit.

This may be for you if

  • You're carrying a loss or several — recent or long-held — and are ready to give it space

  • You want companionship and witnessing in your grief, not just information about it

  • You're willing to share and be witnessed in a small group setting

  • You're drawn to working through the body, not only through talking

  • You can commit to attending all or the majority of the sessions (it’s ok if something comes up or you miss one session)

This may not be the right time if

  • You're in acute crisis and need immediate, individual support

  • You're not yet ready to share in a group — 1:1 work may be a gentler starting point

  • You're looking for a clinical or diagnostic approach to grief

  • You can't attend most of the six sessions (they are not recorded)

"Shandra did a fantastic job of setting up boundaries and expectations for the group. She facilitated in a way that was encouraging, engaging, and affirming.”
